Golden History Moment

I visited the Buffalo Bill Museum earlier this week. In addition to the usual interesting exhibits, they’re screening a new documentary.

In light of this weekend’s Buffalo Bill Days celebration, you might be interested in watching it, and learning what all the fuss is about. Was he really responsible for the near-extinction of the buffalo? (No.) Was he enemy or friend to the native population? (First one, then the other.) Why was he buried on Lookout Mountain? (Watch the movie and find out!)

The documentary is up for an award, and is well worth your time. It’s available on YouTube. Watch it!

Thanks to the Golden History Museum for providing the online cache of historic Transcripts, and to the Golden Transcript for documenting our history since 1866!
