City Council meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. They will hold a public hearing regarding the final plat of the new development at 2400 Ford Street. They will consider a request by the new Corner Saloon at the northeast corner of 12th & Washington. This new business is seeking permission to serve their wares on the walkway along 12th Street. They will consider recommendations from the Planning Commission to facilitate affordable housing in Golden. Finally, they will announce the new appointees to the Downtown Development Authority, Economic Development Commission, Fire Pension Board, Golden Urban Renewal Authority, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Planning Commission, Public Arts Commission and Visit Golden.
