9AM-2PM Last week’s inaugural Brunch at the Rose was well-attended. The Buffalo Rose plans to do a DJ Tribute Brunch once a month, and they’re kicking that off today with the music of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Register.
1-3PM This afternoon, there will be a Non-Profit Expo at Golden High School. Golden is home to many nonprofits that benefit our community. Art, history, hiking, biking, home rehab, feeding the hungry — our nonprofits do it all to make our community stronger, and collaboration is key. Stop by Golden High School to meet nonprofit representatives and pick up information on their projects and goals. Everyone is welcome!
4PM The Jefferson Symphony opens their 67th season this afternoon. The Green Center on the School of Mines Campus has undergone a major renovation over the past couple of years, so the Symphony has been temporarily displaced. Today is the final performance at the Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church (map). The Holiday Concert (December 8th) will take place in the newly refurbished Green Center.
