Blue, Bloody, and Eclipsed

Full moon over Golden Colorado

Are you ready for tomorrow’s Blue Moon/Blood Moon/Super Moon/lunar eclipse? Here’s what all those terms mean: Blue moon means it’s the second full moon in a month. Blood moon means the moon will have a reddish color as it passes through the shadow of the earth. Super moon means it’s closer than usual to the earth, so it will appear larger than usual. According to the Denver Post, the lunar eclipse will start at 5:52 tomorrow morning and will end at 7:08 AM. The moon will set at 7:12 AM. So plan to be watching the western sky early tomorrow morning!

New Terrain Brewing has Yoga on Tap tonight from 6-7, and the Old Capitol Grill has Open Mic Night and Taco Tuesday ($2 tacos) starting at 6PM.

Photographers:  don’t forget to bring some of your photos of Golden to the Visitor’s Center for inclusion in the Golden by Golden Photography Show!
