Golden, Colo. – On September 12, Golden City Council voted unanimously to approve a resolution appointing Sandra Llanes as the City of Golden’s first in-house City Attorney. Llanes’s first day with the City is October 3, 2023.
Llanes comes to Golden from the City of Boulder where she served for over two decades. With beginnings as a municipal prosecutor, Llanes rose in positions of leadership and responsibility with the City of Boulder, most recently, serving as the lead attorney on the annexation of CU South, the Safe and Managed Public Spaces team, the permanent outdoor dining licensing program, the University Hill Revitalization Working Group, COVID response and recovery efforts and the Access Management and Parking Strategy project team… Read more…
