This is the second and last day for this year’s Golden Fine Arts Festival. I went yesterday and saw many interesting and beautiful things. My favorite artist, Jesse Crock, did the painting for this year’s poster, so I bought one. (I’m a bit of a Jesse junky.) The action is all on 11th Street, next to the Clear Creek History Park. Make sure you get down there between 10 and 5 today!
This is the final day for the Elks Club Book Sale. Tonight’s Jefferson Symphony concert in Parfet Park will be a lovely community event. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a family-friendly concert of show tunes and marches. Bring some sandwiches or a pizza and enjoy a picnic along with the concert. The baton comes down at 6:30!
