The Railroad Museum’s Trick or Treat Train will operate again today, from 10AM-4PM.
Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis Street (map) is having a Fall Festival today from 11:30AM-1:30PM. It’s free, and the public is invited. Wear your costumes! They’ll have carnival games, arts & crafts, face painting, a bouncy house, candy and prizes.
The Library is making Witches’ Brew in the DIY lab from 12:30-2:30PM today. Do you like to tinker, invent and re-imagine things? Drop in and try our DIY space and let the creativity flow. Learn how to make Witches’ Brew in our laboratory, and sample it too, while creating festive Halloween DIY projects. Please wear a Halloween costume, if you have one.
Pedal Pushers Cyclery is leading a Halloween Brewery Crawl starting from the shop (710 Golden Ridge Road (map) at 3PM. They plan to visit Cannonball Creek, Golden City Brewery, Mountain Toad, and Barrels & Bottles. Get to the shop early and watch the Broncos. If you wear a custom you can enjoy half price beers at Pedal Pushers (yes, the bike shop sells beer).
From 4-6PM, The Underground (1224 Washington Avenue) will host Ballots & Brews. Join us as we rally in support of our Jeffco Democratic candidates! Ballots will be mailed the week of October 15th, so bring your completed ballot with you to the event. After hearing from our special guests, we’ll walk to the nearby drop box to return our ballots, then enjoy some good food and a beer!

Holidaily Brewing is hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest from 5-7PM. The beer-tenders will vote on their favorite pumpkins and prizes will be given to one adult and one child. Bring your own pumpkin–they’ll supply carving tools.
