The Jefferson County school kids start classes this morning. Be nice to them.
The School of Mines students start classes tomorrow, but at about 8 this morning, they’ll kick off the school year with the annual M Climb. Every year, incoming students haul 10-pound rocks up to the M on Mt. Zion and then give it a fresh coat of whitewash. Look up at 8:30 or 9, and you might see them in the act!
