After a Street Fair, a Farmers Market, a Super Cruise, and a 50th anniversary celebration, today seems a bit anti-climactic.
There will be a meeting at 6PM tonight at Golden High School about the Jeffco School District Facilities Master Plan. There are several items in the plan that pertain to Golden area schools, including outlining steps to convert elementary schools to K-5, to close Pleasant View Elementary School, and for all 6th grade students to attend Bell Middle School. If you want to learn more about these plans and/or weigh in on them, try to attend the meeting.
The Library is offering a class tonight at 6 PM about Buying & Selling Online-eBay and Craigslist. Computer classes are free but require registration. Please visit the library or call (303) 235-5275 to register for the class.
Foothills Art Center is hosting their ARK (Art Reaching Kids) show tonight from 5:30-7:30. This is a chance to meet some emerging artists and buy some of their work.
The Historic Preservation Board will meet at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. They will consider an application requesting state tax credits for rennovation work done on 1010 12th St. in the 12th Street Historic District.
