The Railroad Museum is hosting the High Plains 3 Railers O Scale Modelers today from 9-5. Club members will setup their 34’ x 14’ model layout for display and operation in the Museum’s Picnic Pavilion. Featuring toy trains from 1925 to the modern day examples with bells, whistles, smoke & station announcements, even a “Galloping Goose.”
Coyote 5k Classic Family Fun Run
The Coyote Classic 5K is tomorrow morning at Shelton Elementary. There will be family friendly activities, free food/drinks, music and a basket raffle for all participants and spectators during and following the race. All kids receive a medal upon finishing and everyone takes home a great commemorative technical t-shirt. The top three male and female runners win a free pair of running shoes from Vital Outdoors. There are prizes for top age group prizes as well.
