Take a Public Art Tour Today

Pat Madison and Return of the Cutthroat - Public Art in Golden Colorado

Want to learn more about the public art in Golden? Join one of these walking tours hosted by the Public Art Commission. Tours will start at the Visitors Center at 9:30am, 10:30am, and 1pm. The tour guide will be Golden’s own Pat Madison, who has been part of the program since the very first piece was installed in July of 2000.  Pat is also a sculptor of two of the community’s favorite groupings–Rotary Butterflies and Return of the Cutthroat.


Foothills Art Center is gearing up for this weekend’s art festival on the School of Mines campus.  They are having an artists reception tonight from 6-8PM.  The reception is for members only, but you can join today!


Free carriage rides in Golden Colorado

The downtown merchants are celebrating Golden Weekends again tonight and tomorrow night from 5-8PM.  Take a stroll downtown, take a carriage ride and enjoy the music.  Learn more….
