Happy Father’s Day!
The Colorado Railroad Museum offers one of their Sunday Demonstrations today. Guests meet at 1, in front of the Telegrapher Display in the main Museum building at the scheduled time. Participation is included with regular Museum admission (free to members).
This would be the perfect day to visit the Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit at Foothills Art Center. At 2 PM, the Curator, Marianne Lorenz, will give a lecture: “Setting the Stage: Paris 1900.” At 3, Ms. Lorenz will give a tour of the exhibit. You must register in advance for the lecture, but it is free with a regular admission. The tour is $5 per person, in addition to the regular admission fee.
This is the final day of the Golden Music Festival. Come down to the Clear Creek History Park today from 11 to 2:30 to hear Julie Hoest, Golden’s own Thunder and Rain, and The Railsplitters. The forecast calls for sun and mid-70s!
