We’ll have a Christmas parade this morning at 11, on Washington Avenue.  Santa will be there, as well as many local organizations and businesses.  Immediately after the parade, take a free horse-drawn carriage ride through historic downtown Golden.  If you have little ones, they can ride in a cart drawn by a Newfoundland Dog.

Victorian carolers will be strolling the Avenue, lending holiday cheer.  The merchants are hosting their downtown holiday open house, so you’ll find refreshments, samples, trunk shows, and visiting artists all over downtown.

The Golden History Center is hosting a pottery show and sale (work by local potters) from 10-4, and admission is free.

The Buffalo Rose is hosting a biker-themed arts and crafts show from 10-6.

The Railroad Museum is holding their Santa Claus Steam-Up.  Where else can you ride a train to visit Santa?.
