The Golden Gallop will take place this morning. Packet pick-up and late registration will take place between 6 and 7:30am, and the 5.280 mile race begins at 8, under the Welcome Arch (11th and Washington). There will be an award ceremony and post-race festivities starting at 9, in Parfet Park, and a kids’ fun run at 9:30. Proceeds from this race will go to the Golden Schools Foundation, and will be distributed to the eight schools in the Golden Articulation area. Learn more at the race website.
Best-selling author Sandra Dallas will sign her latest book at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum from 2 to 4. The book, The Quilt Walk, is written for young adults and inspired by a true story.
