The Applewood Valley United Methodist Church (2035 Ellis – Map), in conjunction with the Central City Opera, will present The Ballad of Baby Doe this Friday, April 21st, at 7PM. The Parks & Recreation Board will meet tonight at 7 at the Community Center. They will discuss the pavilion that the Lions Club plans to build in Vanover Park. They will also discuss feedback received during the neighborhood discussion of the Welch Ditch. Our new $1 million skateboard park at the Ulysses Sports Complex will officially open this Saturday, April 22nd, at 8:30AM. They’ll have a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Learn more….
