Come downtown tonight for First Friday! It will be a warm, beautiful evening to enjoy the free carriage rides (and the the lines won’t be long, because the street fairs haven’t started yet). We have crocuses, hyacinths, and daffodils blooming in the planters along Washington Avenue. This will be a nice night to enjoy some seriously spring-like weather!
The stores will be open extra late tonight, and many will have special sales and events. Local author Barb Warden will be signing books (Funiculars of Golden Colorado, and Guidebook to Golden Colorado) at Baby Doe’s, so you can learn a little more about Golden and pick up a cute spring outfit in one fell swoop.
While you’re down there, stay for dinner, a drink, ice cream or frozen yogurt!
