Last Look at the Current Exhibits
Foothills Art Center will host a “Last Look” at Street Fonts and Funk and 3 Scientists – 3 Forms – 3 Artists tomorrow night (Thursday the 12th) from 5:30-8PM. Executive Director, Hassan Najjar will lead a discussion and object based interpretation.
Afterwards, stay for Art on Tap, starting at 6PM. Golden City Brewery will be providing the beer. Our Exhibitions Manager, Eriq will be providing the trivia and entertainment for the evening. Bring a friend or a date to win some prizes and enjoy the exhibits before they end.
THIS IS A 21+ EVENT. Admission to Foothills Art Center and the program is free for Members. Non-members gain free access to the program upon paid admission to Foothills Art Center.
Parents of Young’uns
Jefferson County Schools is hosting an Early Learning Round-Up & Open House tomorrow night (Thursday Oct 12th) from 4:30-7:30 at Golden High School (map) to give families an opportunity to find the best school for their child’s needs, to learn how/when to choice enroll, and find out more information around early access.
Jeffco preschools and elementary schools will be there to answer any questions, along with representatives from HIPPY, School Age Enrichment (SAE), Head Start, Gifted & Talented (GT), and more.
Concerts at the High School
Golden High School will perform a choir and instrumental concert both Thursday and Friday nights (12th & 13th) at 7PM in the auditorium.
