This is a slow time for Golden news…Olde Golden Christmas celebrations are over, and the January meetings and events haven’t begun. So I thought you might enjoy looking at a bunch of historic photos of downtown Golden. I collect old postcards of Golden, so I’ve included many of those, and have also posted photos belonging to the Golden Landmarks Association and some from the Denver Public Library’s Western History Collection.
The ones I’ve included on the page all show roughly the same angle–standing at approximately 14th and Washington, facing north. They range over time from the horse and wagon days through the early 1990s.
