Today’s Jamboree for Outstanding Youngsters (JOY) will run from 10AM-2PM and will be held on the Mines Intramural Field (map). This event is FREE and good for kids aged 4 and up. The hosts being Mines students, you can count on the activities to be good, nerdy, fun! This year’s theme is SPACE.
Don’t forget this morning’s town hall meeting with State Representative Jessie Danielson. The meeting will take place in Golden City Council Chambers from 10-11. Councilor Casey Brown has cancelled his monthly Coffee with a Councilor meeting and will attend Jessie Town Hall instead.
There’s a Bar-B-Que for Freshwater tonight from 5:30-9 at the Buffalo Rose. Grab your cowboy hat and boots and join us for an evening of food, drinks, dancing and fun to raise funds for clean water and safe sanitation in Malawi, Africa and Nicaragua. Families and students of all ages are welcome, but you must be over 21 to receive a drink ticket or purchase alcohol. This events benefits Golden-based Freshwater Project International and Golden Rotary. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for students, and free for kids under 6. Buy tickets online or at the door.
