The Mobility and Transportation Advisory Board met last night to discuss the traffic on 8th Street. They concluded that the proposed new development (72 apartments and 48-room hotel) will not significantly affect the current traffic levels, but agreed that the street is not well set up for pedestrians, so they voted to encourage the City to prioritize that street as a Walkability project.
