Public Comment

The meeting begins with public comment. If you want to address Council, you will have three minutes to speak. Any public comments received by email before 3PM will be posted in the meeting packet after 3 (so check back then!).

Most of tonight's decisions are in the consent agenda. This means that the issues are considered non-controversial, not needing discussion, and everything will be approved at once, with one vote.

Any councilor wishing to discuss one of the issues can request that it be removed from the consent agenda and discussed and voted on separately.

These are the items on the Consent Agenda:

They will award a $200,000 contract for an engineering firm to design an ADA-approved trail on the west end of the rec center and a set of stairs on the east end. These two new routes will provide a route between 8th Street and 10th Street. Learn more.
They will extend the contract with the firm that provides on-call vegetation management services. No dollar amount is mentioned, but the memo says that the cost will increase by 10%. Learn more.
They will appoint Brian Mattson to serve as Golden's representative on the County's Corrections Board. Learn more.
