6-7PM Study Session
The Parks Department has commissioned two master plans--one for Parks & Recreation and one for Open Space. During this study session, the board will review and discuss both. The drafts are not included in the meeting packet.
7PM Regular Meeting
- The board will discuss the status and progress on the pesticide-free parks. DeLong Park is pesticide-free, thanks to the ongoing work of the dedicated "Weedbusters" volunteers. The City is considering other parks that could become pesticide-free.
- They will select the schedule, committee participation, and public input plans regarding the Open Space Master Plan.
- They will discuss the Ulysses Park Project and the selected contractor.
- They will review the parking lot design for Tony Grampsas Park (pp. 7-13 of the meeting memo).
