The board will discuss the sidewalk at the east end of Lions Park. It needs some changes to make it ADA accessible.
They will review the feedback they received at the Triangle Park open house. The City will plant native plants in that area. They also plan to build a "bioswale," which will serve as a snow collection area for the parking lot. This bioswale will not be planted.
Staff will update the board on the crowd control measures being implemented along Clear Creek this year.
The board has been discussing how they might get more youth engagement in park planning, and this discussion will continue.
Their consultant will review the progress on the City Open Space Master Plan.
