Sarah Vaine (Thriving Communities Director) will give an update on the soon-to-be-formed Arts & Culture Commission. This is relevant to the Parks board because so much artwork is being planned to the public parks.
Meredith Ritchie (Community Engagement & Communications Director) will report on Special Events. This process also has a new board--or at least a different composition, and their meetings will be broadcast in the future. The group is going from 6 members to 12. (See p. 10 in the meeting packet.)
Berry Dunn (a consulting firm) will report on the latest Parks & Recreation Master Plan and give an update on the Open Space Master Plan.
They will review and approve their work plan for 2025. (See p. 13 in the meeting packet.)
