6PM "No Other Land" Screening @ Colorado School of Mines

No Other Land, Academy Award winner for Best Documentary Feature, will be screened in Room 202 at Hill Hall. It is free and open to the public.  Dinner will be provided at 6:00 p.m., with the film starting at 6:30 p.m.  Please RSVP if possible; details are in the attachment and in this link: shorturl.at/Td8vw The sponsors are Mines SDS and Orediggers Against Apartheid.    

This documentary made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective shows the destruction of the occupied West Bank's Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers and the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval. In spite of the film receiving many international awards, and being the highest-grossing documentary of the year, it has not been able to get a US distributor.
