This committee has been formed to define and strengthen Golden's historic preservation practices. Their goals include:
- To define community character and articulate the specific aspects
of Golden’s built environment that are significant to the community - To facilitate the creation of community-defined preservation goals
- To co-create and redefine a historic preservation program that
serves the desires of the community and works to enhance the
historic character of the City. - To examine the current historic resource management tools utilized
in Golden and evaluate their efficacy in stewarding Golden’s built
heritage - To assess additional/alternative historic resource management
tools to fulfill community-defined preservation goals - To celebrate the historic resources of Golden
