The Last Big Saturday of Olde Golden Christmas

The Christmas parade starts at 11 on Washington Avenue, downtown Golden.
Foothills Art Center is hosting a Gingerbread House Construction Zone today from 11-2.
What the Dickens? Victorian Carolers will be strolling the Avenue from 11:30-1:30.
Free horse-drawn carriage rides will be available from 12-4, and Newfoundland Dog Cart rides (for small children) will run from 12-3.
Barb Warden will signing her book, Olde Golden Christmas, from 12-2 at Baby Doe’s Clothing.
Santa Claus will be at Avenue Gifts from 12-3, so bring the kids for a visit and a  photo.
Jerry Barlow will be playing Celtic Music at Meyer Hardware from 12-2.
Ed Slack will be painting one of his beautiful Golden Christmas pictures at Spirits in the Wind from 12-4.
Enjoy holiday crafts and activities at the Astor House from 12-3:30.  Admission is only $3 per person (or free for members)!
Celebrate the winter solstice (shortest day of the year) at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center from 4-6PM.
The Buffalo Rose will host a Masquerade Ball tonight, beginning at 7:30, to celebrate the solstice.

Wrigley’s Chicago Bar & Grill is hosting their Annual Customer Christmas Party, which includes a free buffet.  If you’re a regular there, stop in and celebrate with them!
