The City is working on a redesign plan for the Jackson St. Corridor. They anticipate that several of the buildings east of Washington Avenue will be redeveloped "in the near future."
They held a first open house on March 25. At that time, they presented two design alternatives. Both showed more trees and wider sidewalks. One proposed reducing the number of parking spots from 82 to 40. The other proposed reducing parking spots from 82 to 29.
Tonight, they will unveil the final recommendations.
