Ray Troll is a legendary artist from Alaska who created a beloved style of illustrated storytelling featured in numerous books including the newly published second edition of "Cruisin’ the Fossil Freeway" (2024) a collaboration with his scientist pal Dr. Kirk Johnson, former lead paleontologist at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
The pair are in town and kindly agreed to share some of the wonderfully entertaining stories and artwork from their fossil hunting adventures in the Western U.S. Proceeds benefit Friends of Dinosaur Ridge and Mines Museum of Earth Science.
