Confluence Development is requesting a Public Finance and Redevelopment Agreement to assist with the cost of redeveloping 17270 West Colfax Ave. (map). Confluence has built many projects in Golden, including the Eddy Hotel (1640 8th Street - map), Basecamp Apartments at 1620 8th St (map), West 8th Street Apartments (1410 8th Street - map), 8th Street Residences at 920 8th Street - map), and Arapahoe Row (719 Arapahoe Street - map). They also built the sophomore residence hall at 1750 Jackson St. (map), the boarding house at 18475 W. Colfax (map), the new apartment building at 16500 S. Golden Road (map), and a coworking space at 430 Indiana Street (map).
For this project, they plan to build 181 apartments and 7,945 square feet of commercial space on a 3.7 acre lot. This agreement commits GURA to funding up to $6 million of the development cost.
