Today’s theme: The U.S. Internment of Japanese-Americans

Months after the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 authorizing the internment of over 100,000 Japanese-Americans. Seek to understand this dark chapter in American history and what we learned as a nation from this experience with Active Minds.
