The Golden Cemetery has a wonderful collection of trees, which makes it a uniquely suitable place to celebrate Arbor Day.
Join the City's Forestry staff tomorrow morning at the Cemetery for a tree-planting demonstration. Staff will be on-site from 11AM - 1PM.
This event will include educational information on the benefits of trees from certified arborists, including a Q&A and a self-guided tour using the new tree inventory map to explore over 1,000 mature trees on the property. There will be free tree seedlings on a first-come first-serve basis. More information
