It’s Race Season in Golden!

We have four races scheduled in the next three weeks.

Sunday September 21, 7AM – 4th Annual Coyote Chase
Shelton Elementary.

Join us for the 4th annual Coyote 5K Classic and 1 Mile Fun Run. Challenge yourself to a 5K race like no other. You can expect challenging hills and stunning views while you enjoy this one of a kind community event. Thanks to our generous sponsors, this is one of the most affordable 5k events in the area. There will be fun activities, including food/drinks, face painter, balloon creator, obstacle course, music and a silent auction happening during and following the race.  100% of all registration fees will go directly to Shelton Elementary Science and Technology fund.  Register here.

Sunday September 21, 10AM – 13th Annual Second Wind 5K Run/Walk
Jeffco Fairgrounds

Since 2002, Second Wind Fund has brought you the Annual Walk/Run which began with only 66 participants. This year, we anticipate over 2,000! Whether you are a 1-mile walker, 3-mile stroller, or 5K qualifying runner, this is a wonderful event for all ages. Each year, our unique celebration includes a memorial dove release. Your registration fee includes an event t-shirt, BBQ lunch, entertainment, children’s activities, Wellness Village and our wildly popular silent auction! Learn more.

Sunday September 28, 8AM – Golden Gallop
Downtown Golden

Starting again beneath the City’s famous ‘Welcome’ arch, right in the center of historic downtown Golden, and finishing in leafy Parfet Park beside gushing Clear Creek, the Golden Gallop will lead its runners on 5k and 10k loops as well as a Kid’s Fun Run Course. Proceeds from the 2014 Golden Gallop will benefit the Golden Schools Foundation. Support the Golden Gallop and make a difference to students in Golden schools!  Register here.
