Winter Solstice

This is the first day of winter, and the shortest day of the year.  Celebrate by taking a nighttime stroll along the creek tonight.  The light display is spectacular this year.  You’ll have plenty of time to do it, since the sun sets at 4:39 this afternoon and will not rise again till 7:18 tomorrow morning.  The moon is waxing past its first quarter and the sky should be clear tonight.  Get out and enjoy it!
