The Sustainability Board meets tonight in City Council Chambers.  They’re working with the Planning Commission to make the green building standards more stringent.  They will also discuss the upcoming public hearing (May 15th) about the CoorsTek air quality permit renewal.  Learn more….

Golden History Roundtable at the Golden Library

The second meeting of the Golden History Roundtable is scheduled this Saturday from 12-1:30PM. Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum - Golden Colorado

The School of Mines Geology Museum is having one of their popular Garage/Book sales this weekend–Saturday from noon till 4PM and Sunday from 9AM-4PM.

Did you miss the closing day of the Golden Mill? Well guess what? A group of local kids has organized a donation drive for Foothills Animal Shelter from 10AM-2PM, and the owner of the Golden Mill has agreed to host it. Golden Mill still has some  inventory, and the public is invited to buy what’s left at a deeply-discounted price. You can buy it for your own use or donate it to Foothills Animal Shelter.
