More Celestial Excitement
Having passed the Equinox yesterday, we’ll have one extra second of daylight today . Woo-hoo!
The moon will be full at 10:48 this morning. That’s a bit confusing, since it won’t be visible at that time, but I read it on the internet, so it must be true, right? The moon will rise at 4:50PM this afternoon and set at 8:07AM tomorrow morning.
Closer to Home – Many “Lasts”
This is your last day to visit Santa (and get a photo op). He’ll be at Avenue Gifts (1212 Washington Ave.) from 11:30AM-3PM and at the Railroad Museum from 10AM-2PM.
This is also the last day to see the children’s play at Miners Alley: they’ll be performing The Story of the Nutcracker at 11AM and again at 1PM.
This is the last day to see an artist demonstrating and discussing his art at the Holiday Art Market at Foothills Art Center. John Hamilton III will be there from 2-3PM.
This is your first, last, and BEST opportunity to enjoy a Celtic Holiday Music concert at Meyer Hardware. Jerry Barlow will be playing from 12:30-2:30PM. Enjoy the music and finish your shopping at the same time!
