The Parks, Recreation, and Museums Advisory Board will have a field trip/study session tonight from 6-8PM. They will visit the North Washington Open Space, where local flora savant Tom Schweich will provide a tour and explain the diversity of native plants found in that small plot of land. If you want to join them, meet at Norman D. Park and walk to the open space entering at the curve of N. Ford, just south of Alaska Street.

From 6-8:30, Golden United and the City of Golden will host “Visioning Golden’s Future” at Foothills Art Center. We will discuss our visions for Golden and how we can manage development to align with key goals, including preserving Golden’s small town character, access to affordable housing, and sustainability. We will collectively discuss options for regulating land-use and development and strategies for strengthening communication and engagement of residents in planning and zoning processes. Learn more….
