Big Events for Little Kids

Colorado Railroad Museum - Golden Colorado

There are several events scheduled for little kids this week.  On Tuesday, the Railroad Museum will have their monthly story time and craft.  On Wednesday, Dinosaur Ridge will host the popular TriceraTOTs program.  On Thursday, the Library will hold a Toddler Dance Party.  And don’t forget the regular story times at the LibraryPreschool Time – Monday 1:15-1:45; Toddler Time – Tuesday 10:15-10:45, Wednesday 9:15-9:45 and 10:15-10:45, Thursday 10:15-10:45 and 11-11:45, Friday 10:15-10:45; Baby Time – Tuesday 9:15-9:45 and 10:15-10:45, Thursday 9:15-9:45, Friday 9:15-9:45.

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will meet tonight at 6:30.  They will consider two grant requests–one for $3407.60 from the Golden History Center, and one for $8000 from the Jefferson Symphony.  Chris Cone will attend the meeting to describe his renovation plans for the Buffalo Rose.  They will also discuss proposed sidewalk improvements on the south side of 12th St., on either side of Prospector’s Alley.  Learn more….

Tomorrow at 1PM, the Golden History Museum will host a lecture on Trappers & Mountain Men.

The CSU Extension will hold a couple of events for botanically-minded people this week at the Jeffco Fairgrounds.  Tomorrow night (Tuesday the 16th), they’re offering a Basic Botany Class.  Thursday night, they’re teaching Colorado Plant Families.
