Tomorrow (October 31st) from 10:30-11, the Golden Library will host an all-ages spooky store time.
From 10-4 tomorrow, the Colorado Railroad Museum is running their annual Trick or Treat Train. It’s full steam ahead for tricks, treats and trains at the Colorado Railroad Museum’s Trick or Treat Train. The Railroad Halloween Town is a safe place to enjoy Halloween. Catch a ride behind the historic locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume. The Trick or Treat Train departs every 30 minutes between 10:00AM and 4:00PM. Visit all the Town’s special stops to fill your treat bags and tickle your funny bones. Try a visit to our “not so spooky” haunted railcar or the Olde Railroaders silly graveyard. And, get a great picture of your costume as you pause in front of our Pumpkin Patch. Museum Members and children under 2 are free, $5 for children (2-15), $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (over 60).

GOLDEN —A monthly summer event that draws thousands of people to Golden finally is getting a serious look from City Council.

Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: My father, four brothers and I moved to the U.S. from South Korea in 1976. My dad established a restaurant in Phoenix — Chang’s Restaurant. My brothers and I helped him at the restaurant during our school years. Three of my older brothers entered the restaurant business after leaving school. Santiago Gonzalez, a graduate student in computer science, started his undergraduate degree at Mines in 2010 at the age of 12. He is currently teaching the Mines course, Operating Systems, and getting ready to defend his thesis in November. Gonzalez is set to finish his master’s degree in December 2015.
