This is Colorado Craft Beer Week, and today (Wednesday March 20th) is Colorado Pint Day!

Cannonball Creek is selling Colorado Craft Beer-labeled glasses today. They are also celebrating the one-year anniversary of their Open Mic Night from 6-10PM tonight. It was originally scheduled for last week, but they were bomb-cycloned out.

Lots of Irish Food This Weekend

Grateful Bread is offering a special St. Patrick’s Day baking of Parker House Rolls (made with lots of local butter) today. They remind us that these rolls are the perfect complement to corned beef and cabbage–as are their rye bread and pumpernickel bread. Get them before they sell out! Golden restaurants are taking advantage of our holiday lights to launch a new event this year: Winter Lights, Winter Nights will last from February 1st-10th. Beer and Chocolate at Mountain Toad

Tomorrow night, Monday August 27th, Mountain Toad Brewing is hosting a beer and chocolate pairing.

Come and join us for a pairing with four of Mountain Toad’s craft brews and four vegan organic chocolates from Red Wagon Organic Chocolates. These hand crafted chocolates include flavors such as Lavender and Lemongrass or Peppermint all created with food grade essential oils and no refined sugars. These beauties melt in your mouth!

The cost for pairing which consists of four chocolates and four 5oz beers is $15. Sales begin at 6pm and will go until the chocolates run out!

Red Wagon Organic Chocolates will also have chocolates available for sale. Find your favorite pairing and take a bar and a crowler to go!

Carriage Rides - Golden Colorado

Summer is waning and school has started, but some of our best summer traditions are still before us.  We have 2-1/2 more weeks of Golden Weekends, with carriage rides, street music, late hours, sales, samples, and specials in the stores.  The weekly shindig happens this Friday and Saturday, next Friday and Saturday, and Friday night, August 31st.  (After that you’ll have to wait for Olde Golden Christmas for your next carriage ride.)
