Bike Junkies Fest

The Golden Bike Shop is holding a Bike Junkies Fest today from 10AM-4PM.

Are you ready for an awesome day of amazing bikes and FREE DEMOS! The GBS Bike Junkies fest is a day full of bikes, friends and lots of riding.

This event will take place in the On Tap Credit Union parking lot which is across the street from the bike shop.

All our bikes from Yeti, Pivot, Santa Cruz and Mondraker will be available to ride. Pivot will also have some eBikes to test ride!

There will be Bivouac Coffee for the early birds, a food cart with brats, hot dogs and pork sliders and an after party at Mountain Toad Brewing.

All proceeds will go to building the Floyd Hill trail system.

Today is May 5th, which–as we all know–is the date we commemorate the Mexican Army‘s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza. (Wikipedia).

This is Colorado Craft Beer Week, and today (Wednesday March 20th) is Colorado Pint Day!

Cannonball Creek is selling Colorado Craft Beer-labeled glasses today. They are also celebrating the one-year anniversary of their Open Mic Night from 6-10PM tonight. It was originally scheduled for last week, but they were bomb-cycloned out.

Grateful Bread is offering a special St. Patrick’s Day baking of Parker House Rolls (made with lots of local butter) today.
